Children's Ministry
The Word of God says in Proverbs 22:6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” At Light of the World Church, we understand the importance of training up the next generation church. The world is a dark place, and it continues to get even darker. That means the light within our children must burn even brighter.
Here is an overview of the Children’s Ministry:
• Nursery care is provided for infants and young children at each main worship service. Parents can rest easy and be fed by the Word of the Lord while their children are cared for by our excellent workers.
• Sunday school classes are available during each main service (Thursday evenings and Sundays). Children are taught foundational Biblical truths and the importance of having a personal relationship with Christ.
• At both Sunday services, the children have their own time of praise and worship where they are encouraged to participate through singing, clapping, movement, prayer and much more
• During Children’s Church, the children are also presented with short lessons or words of encouragement through object illustrations or puppet skits.
• We also have special events, such as our Annual VBS and our “True Vine” Community Outreach to unchurched children and their families.
