What We Believe

Tenets of Faith

  1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, living and infallible, the authoritative and everlasting rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to human conscience and reason.
  2. There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, functioning as one entity.
  3. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, the miracles He performed, the establishment of His New Covenant at the Lord's Supper, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, and in His future return to this earth.
  4. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again soon to receive His bride, the gathering of His saints, to be forever with Him.
  5. Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but by voluntary transgression, fell into sinfulness and whose only hope of redemption is through repentance and faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ.
  6. Man's only hope of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and provided salvation for all mankind. By this grace, we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential to this salvation as evidenced by the inward witness of the Holy Spirit and an outward life of righteousness and holiness.
  7. Jesus Christ provided for divine healing of our physical bodies by way of the cross and bore our infirmities and sicknesses, which is received by faith in answer to believing prayer.
  8. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is manifested in spiritual power, public testimony and service, the development of the character and nature of God in the believer. All believers should expect and seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  9. The Church is the spiritual Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, and divinely empowered for the fulfilment of the great commission. Each believer has an integral part within the Church assembly.
  10. The ordinances of Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper are commanded in the Scriptures for all who have truly repented and believe on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In doing so, they declare that they identify with the death and resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ.
  11. There is the final judgment of both the saved and the lost, the saved to everlasting life in Heaven, and the lost (those not accepting the redemptive blood and cross of Jesus Christ) to everlasting damnation, eternally separated from God, consigned to punishment in the Lake of Fire.
